Nest and Tangled are two mannequin heads made using silicone mold 3D printing processes.
The project wants to challenge the technological processes traditionally used for the production of mannequins, exploiting the technical and expressive potential of rapid prototyping.
On the one hand, Nest enhances the irregularity of an apparently casual intertwining, inspired by the same natural randomness of bird’s nests, on the other hand the Tangled version draws its charm from the sinuous and visually infinite path that envelops the head of the mannequin.
